Friedrich "Fritz" Kreisler (February 2, 1875 – January 29, 1962) was an Austrian-born violinist and composer. One of the most noted violin masters of his day, and regarded as one of the greatest violin masters of all time, he was known for his sweet tone and expressive phrasing.

The arranger writes..."The Kreisler compositions have always fascinated me with their simple joy and I felt the horn, with its unique voice - was up to the technical task of 'singing' the pieces."

This work is a movement from the Kreisler Suite recorded by Marty Hackleman on his CD "After a Dream" which is now available on iTunes.

Part of our Marty Hackleman Signature Series.
