Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring (Trumpet part)

This is a popular piece that every trumpet player needs to know and play in various church situations. This part has the melody on the top staff and the triplet counter line below it on a separate staff. Depending on if you are playing solo, along with a choir, or some other situation, you can play the necessary stave(s) to fit in.

The piece fits with the G. Schirmer arrangement for organ and SATB choir and has matching measure numbers, repeats and rehearsal marks.

The key is concert G, with parts provided for Bb, C and D trumpet. If you need to play it in another key (say) F, you can do something like play the D trumpet part (written key of F) on your C trumpet.
