Trumpet Voluntary

Large brass ensemble (11 part), in the Denver Brass instrumentation. When considering these pieces, please note: Bagpipes will need a B flat chanter in order to play in tune with the brass.  The idea for this arrangement was initially a joke – it’s a good thing someone took it seriously because audiences can’t get enough of this powerhouse!

Instrumentation: 2 BAGPIPES +  423.02 Brass 

• Bagpipes 1 & 2
• Piccolo Trumpet 1 & 2 in A  (doubles on B♭ Picc.), alt. B♭ Picc.parts provided
•  Trumpet 3 & 4 in B♭
• 2 Horns
• 2 Trombones
• Bass Trombone
• 2 Tubas
