Alster Promenade – FIRST BRASS

Alster Promenade celebrates the beautiful town of Hamburg where Allan and his wife Marion lived when they recorded First Brass. The river Alster forms a large lake in the center of town where fishermen, surfers, sailing boats and the famous white Alster fleet of steam ships present all the beauty, charm and flair that the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg has to offer. Allan took many walks on the shore and has fond memories of his years in the North German metropolis, before moving to London in 1993.
