Fanfare for the Brave

Original work commissioned by the Denver Brass.

A festive and grand opening is followed by a triplet undercurrents in the trumpets under a melody in the horns and trombones. The trumpets take the melody which transitions into a slow middle sections featuring a tuba solo. Beautiful and resonant soaring trumpets transition back to the rhythmic material an a strong and definitive ending. A fantastic and inspirational way to open a concert!
