Spring from The Four Seasons

One of the most famous and well-loved of all baroque works, the four seasons (Le quattro stagioni) were first published in 1725 as the first of 12 concerti that make up Il Cemento Dell’armonia e dell’inventione ( The Contest of Harmony and Invention). This adaptation of “Spring” for Brass Quintet is a challenging work for work that requires a light touch and smooth interworking of parts to create a successful performance.
