Three Short Chorales

Many brass quintets today don’t take time to do the most simple and basic chore a group can do before hitting the Ewald or Etler: warm up and check intonation! This score contains three basic Chorales. The first one is adapted from the inside of a concert band music folder, the next two are chorales adapted from Mendelssohn Organ Sonatas. I recommend, at the outset of every rehearsal ,playing one or two of these chorales. Listen to each other, check your blend and intonation and then — start the rehearsal proper!!
