Composed in 2008, "Conversation in Orange and Brown" is a duet for Horns (also available as a duet for Horn and Tuba). Full of rich harmony and interesting counterpoint, this piece is perfect for recitals. Bartholomew coaxes a surprising number of textures out of two instruments, and both Horns have technically rewarding passages to play.
