Crimson Sky

Composed and dedicated to Ryan Anthony and the 2015 Cancer Blows Event.

The Composer writes: "Since I was a kid, I've always been intrigued by the magnificent beauty and ominous aspects of sunsets. Whether it's magical, surreal or spiritual, these glorius murals in the sky are unique to each one of us. Sometimes, the beauty is so powerful, it can transcend all understanding."

The peice is composed for three three-part trumpet choirs. B♭ and C parts are provided for parts 1 through 8. Part 9, the third trumpet in the third choir, was written for a four-valve flugelhorn, but alternate parts for B♭ trumpet and Bass Trumpet are provided.
