Air for Erin was written in 1991 to celebrate the birth of the Composer’s first child. Like Erin, the melody has a few surprising turns, but never fails to please the listener. Of all the things Phil has ever written, this work has received the most accolades over the years and he never tires of performing it. He’s very proud of both Erin and her melody!
