Londonderry Air

Londonderry Air has always meant many things to different people. Now the official anthem of Northern Ireland, this tune had been passed down for generations before it was finally written down and published in 1855. It has been set to many different lyrics and played many different ways. Phil's setting is mostly in 3/4 time (instead of the traditional 4/4) which gives it a more waltz-like feel before returning to the original 4/4 setting in the end.
