A work of an outstandingly romantic nature, this is one of the composer’s best-known compositions. Written in G major and of a deep lyricism, its structure is based on irregular arpeggios. It is composed of two contrasting sections and a ritornello to the main theme in chord form. It’s part of the composer’s usual performance repertoire.
