The Telemann Concerto in G TWV 51.G4 was originally composed for solo violin, strings and continuo. In the tradition of the great Maurice André, who single-handedly expanded the solo trumpet repertoire by championing the practice of “borrowing” literature of other instruments from the Baroque period, this Telemann Violin Concerto is now yet another great addition to the trumpet repertoire.

Dedicated to the arranger’s friend and world-class trumpeter, Caleb Hudson.
