The Happy Hoofer

Whereas the "Blues" evokes sounds of sadness and/or loneliness, The Happy Hoofer provides a contrasting feeling of well being and reflects a time when Hoofers (like the immortal Bill "Bojangles" Robinson) delighted audiences with their inimitable and individualistic styles.  Today, we pay tribute to such young talents as Savion Glover and Gregory Hines who keep the treasure of "Hoofing" alive.
