“Agnus Dei”, for choir and string orchestra, is a beautiful setting of the traditional mass text. The choir sings against sustained pitches in the orchestra, creating a static, calm texture which perfectly captures the meaning of the text.

Agnus Dei was commissioned by Paul Jones, Music Director at Tenth Presbyterian Church, Philadelphia. It received its premiere on May 20, 2007 in Philadelphia.  It is a setting of Roman Mass text derived from John 1:29-34.
