The Star Spangled Banner

This fresh setting of The Star-Spangled Banner is a brass player's delight.  Conceived for five professional-level players, it requires significant range capabilities from everyone.  Embedded within the arrangement are quotes and hints of:  Leopold Mozart Concerto in D, Copland Fanfare for the Common Man, Monteverdi Toccata from L'Orfeo, and Reiche Fanfare.  The melody is cleverly passed from one instrument to another throughout the arrangement, and should always be the most prominent line.  It is sure to deliver the "wow!" factor in a concert setting and even at the ballpark with the right personnel.
