Our high-quality corks are designed for mute manufacturers, brass repair technicians, and discerning brass instrumentalists who need to replace worn or damaged mute corks. The bottom of each cork is slightly concave, allowing it to fit snugly onto the mute.

We believe the fine grain and level of finishing on our corks (free of burrs and other defects) make them the best available anywhere.

Our corks are 100% natural, containing no neoprene or other artificial composites. Such materials are difficult to sand evenly, unattractive, and seldom used for higher-end mutes.

These corks do NOT include self-adhesive backing, as corks secured with double-faced tape can shift during bell insertion or fall off altogether. Instead, use a quality contact cement such as DAP Weldwood (commonly available at hardware stores) to ensure a permanent bond between cork and mute. Alternatively, an adhesive like Eclectic Products E6000 Craft Adhesive can be used, which allows for repositioning during its longer curing time.
