Hirschman Mutes "Chicago Stinger" Trumpet Mute - Gen II+

Co-designed with Kenny Rampton of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra, the "Chicago Stinger Gen II+" is inspired by the buzz mutes of yesteryear, particularly the 1920's era "Chicago" Combination Trumpet Mute. The Chicago Stinger provides more consistent buzz across the entire range of the horn, blows more freely and has better intonation than any buzz mute that has ever been on the market.  This mute is a new, improved replacement for the Chicago Stinger Gen II.  The Gen II+ finer caplet threads and added Tone Boosters improve intonation, slotting, volume, and projection vs. the Gen II.
